Cedric Fischer
Cedric Fischer was born in Zürich, Switzerland in February 1990. During his bachelor program, he studied mechanical engineering at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH Zürich) where he finished his bachelor’s thesis on the development of an experimental platform for single molecule force spectroscopy. He continued with a M. Sc. in mechanical engineering with a focus on biomedical applications. During this time, he was a scientific assistant at Aeon Scientific and later MSRL. He wrote his master’s thesis at the Living Matter Lab at Stanford University on modeling cranial growth resulting in a co-authored paper. After completing his master’s degree, he continued to work at MSRL as an assistant before joining the group as a Ph.D. student in February 2018.
