Denis von Arx

Denis von Arx was born in Switzerland in 1994. He received his BSc and MSc degrees from the Department of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH Zurich) in 2016 resp. in 2018. During his studies, he specialized in analog circuits, power electronics and control systems. He wrote his master thesis at ABB about distributed control algorithms for power electronic converters. After completing his master thesis, he joined Magnebotix AG for an internship in the area of magnetic manipulation systems for microrobotic applications. He subsequently joined MSRL as a PhD student to work on the development of new magnetic actuation systems.
