Huimin Chen

Huimin received her bachelor’s degree in Measurement Technology and Instruments from the North University of China in 2015 and her master’s degree in Instrument and Meter Engineering from Tsinghua University in 2019. Her previous works focused on the locomotion of centimeter-scale robots, including steering, repeated jumping, and elevation controllable jumping. She joined ETH as a Ph.D. student in September 2022 and is currently working on the BeMAGIC project. Her role in the project involves research on magnetoelectric (ME) particles, including optimizing photocurable magnetoelectric inks, integrating 3D printing and electromagnetic systems, and enabling the direct 3D printing of ready-to-use and responsive active systems.
