Jasan Zughaibi

Jasan received his B.Sc. in Engineering Physics from TU Berlin, Germany, in 2017 and his M.Sc. in Robotics, Systems, and Control from ETH Zurich, Switzerland in 2020 - both awarded with distinction. For his master’s thesis entitled "Design, Modeling and Control of a Spherical Soft Robotic Arm for Pick-and-Place Applications", he was awarded the ETEL Master award of ETH Zurich and the Hans-Eggenberger Award. His main research interests include the modeling of dynamical systems and the development of learning control algorithms for magnetically actuated continuum robots. He is a doctoral fellow at the Max Planck ETH Center for Learning Systems under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Bradley Nelson and Dr. Michael Muehlebach.
