Inspired by the devastating impact of brainstem gliomas on young lives, Fabian Landers and his team at ETH Zürich developed ANGIE_h2020: a groundbreaking universal drug delivery micro-robot, to bring hope to those facing this diagnosis.
One of this year's Prototypes for Humanity Award winners, this breakthrough innovation uses magnetic navigation to precisely deliver therapeutic cells to tumor sites, offering hope for a future where untreatable cancers in children and young adults become manageable.
